CubeHead Game Review for Pocket PC

Posted by Admin

Although Cascata Games have not released that many Pocket PC games, there is one that stands out of the crowd which they created. This game is fun puzzle game by the name of Cube. You can download it on the PocketPC platform as a free trial version and if you like it, you will be able to purchase the game. Cubehead has insane graphics and addicting music. Once you start playing, you will always have the background music in the back of your mind - even when you turn off the game.

The goal of the game is very straight forward. You need to set up tiles by ranks. For example, ranks start out at 3, 4, or 5. The tiles can be lined up either vertically or horizontally. All you have to do is click the arrows in order to move a row to the other place, in the direction of your choice. However, you need to pay close attention to your energy bar because every time you click, the energy bar is lowered. This obviously isn't a game about clicking everything you see. You must be fast, efficient and accurate when it comes to CubeHead. Also, if you save your energy you can easily set off bombs on the board. Just tap on the lightning icon and the bomb you detonate will blast away any tiles that are touching it. This is great for steel tile blocks which are impossible to move around. There is another cool feature of this game and it is called the Easter Egg. This egg will appear suddenly on the board and then it rotates within all of the game pieces. You must click on it to prevent it from rotating. Once you do this, you can see what piece you get. Make sure you don’t click the Easter Egg if there are any steel tiles showing.

One of the benefits of playing CubeHead is that you have different options when it comes to difficulty settings, the time allowed and your sound settings. You can also download up to twenty-five extra music tracks. The best part of all is that these tracks are free. The game might not be as addictive as Bejeweled but it is a lot of fun. This is a wonderful game for people who love puzzles or want a mind challenge. The graphics are also very detailed as well, showing all the tiles clearly. I would have to rate this game an eight out of ten.
